Heavy Water
Sea/Drowning/Me Fall/Winter/Spring and...
Warm water swells
Heavy heart stirs
Distant wave breaks
She’s hanging by a hair
Worn heart swells
Heavy water sings
White noise boils
She’s running out of air
In dreams
I bathe
In the eyes
Of a smoldering sea
As heavy as heavy can be
And with my heart put asunder
I descend these depths
Into the crush of the ocean
And I can’t see
In nightmares
I freeze in the pull
Of soft water moons
As fickle as you
And with screaming limbs
I struggle to live
But I was never taught to swim
In time
I float
in the wreathe
Of blooming flower falls
As soft as soft can bee
I feel my healing heart bloom
Tears well warm water flow
I breathe
And let go
Skin baptized in snow
Skin kissed by sunlight
Skin hugged by warmth
Skin enveloped by wind
